Starting up with Android

Ok i pretty much know nothing about android phones... Im planning to buy one. I wanna know what do i need for it. I mean i am from India and here these phones are sold unlocked and the carriers dont sell them on contract. So what i want to know is does android work straight on 3g and wi-fi to buy or download whatever we want or is there some kind of android plan we need like bbm...... All this might sound stupid as shit to most ppl here but i would like to be helped out

I'm not from India so it is hard for me to help. What do you mean by this? Maybe elaborate a little more?

there is nothing special you need... just internet connection... from carrier or wifi.

android phones love data.. and so easy for you to enjoy the freedom and data ..

just keep that in mind.

Hey thanks a ton... And lastly can I have a link to some websie with good and accurate reviews. For all the android phones.. And can I have ur suggestion too.. Money is not an issue unless its like an off the roof price phone..

i dont know what is in india.. and carriers that will do good for you.

you need to..
1. research on carriers for plans and quality of service in your home area of concern.
2. go to thier website.. find a few phones you like.
3. go to store.. narrow down to 2 or 3 devices...
4. go to youtube and check out reviews
5. go to forums and see how well those phones are supported by OEM and Dev.
6. ask me for permission.
7. buy phone.
8. complain about all the things that you should have known before you got the phone.
9. get my forgiveness
10. make peace with the phone and then finally be happy.
11. because it comes after 10.
