    Have you tried turning off your antivirus software on your computer? I ran into this when I was rooting my phone.

    I'm having the exact same problem. I have no idea what might be the problem... ROM Manager swears it flashed in Clockwork but whenever it reboots into recovery it's obviously not Clockwork but what I am assuming is the default recovery screen with the same thing as above:

    --Install from package...
    Finding update package..
    Opening update package..
    Verifying update package..
    E:failed to verify whole-file signature
    E:signature verification failed
    Installation aborted.
    =============================

    It looks like it's trying apply whatever is in the update.zip in the root of the sdcard but fails before it can do anything. Any help will be appreciated cuz as far as I can tell I'm doing exactly what I am being instructed...

    Reading around on XDA, it looks like the version that ROM manager installs doesn't do it right. Get the one click from XDA forums and try that one.

    anyone havin any luck on this. i've tried everything under the sun and am convinced that my phone is just not gonna have anything to do with clockwork. i've seen alot of folks with the same problem but if they do find solutions the explainations they give are vague at best. i can't for the life of me figure out what i'm doin wrong. i'm rooted, usb debugging is on, sd card is unmounted, drivers are good. and i've tried everything the net, these forums, sdx forums, and xda forums have to offer.

    I finally did it... I have Froyo!

    1. Volume down, Camera button, power button

    2. Press volume down button to option you want

    3. Press camera button to select

    After its done, just keep selecting go back, then select reboot now.
