There should be some in the market but use caution and read the comments carefully at least one I have seen is totally bogus and ad-ware/malware crap.

Install RealCalc Scientific Calculator. It's free. Let's just say ... it'll do the job. ;)

Negative... The look is disgusting. Function is ok, If I press the clear button once I want the whole thing cleared out.. I want it to function like a calculator, not have special long press functionality. WACK!!!!!!!

I second the recomendation for RealCalc. Very nice for my needs. It even has RPN mode as an option for those that grew up on HP calculators!

Put me down for another vote on realcalc. I can't live without RPN mode, but you can use it in standard mode as well. It is easy to use and well laid out.

Another one that I have used is droid48. This is an actual rom image of an HP48 calculator. I thought I would use this one more, but it is a bit awkward to use, ie, lots of keys. It does come with full financial and conversion utilities though that are pretty nifty.

The stock calc is just fine you my friend just arent using it correctly. I like it alot better then my LG Versa's calc. Atlease the Droid has big buttons and you dont have to have lil fingers to try and mash on the number and end up with the wrong number and who cares how it looks nothing looks perfect and who cares if you need to hold down the clear button to clear everything...You have a fricken droid dude get over it..Dont like it get another fricken phone rather then complain about the one you have..Im sure there is another phone that has a better calc out there..my goodness

Is there a calculator app that emulates a TI-83 or similar calculator?

also, this may not be the place for it, but I'll ask anyway:
In handycalc, does anyone know how to delete the pages that are constantly created? I have around 50 pages of calculations I don't want anymore...

I'm gonna second Jacktherippers question - anyone know of an app that will let me finally sell my TI-83 on craigslist? I have to use it for class, but my teachers are fine with me using the phone if I get an app that can do the same functions I need it to do.

Wow someone has a case of the Mondays... So I take it your the kinda guy that buys a car and never upgrades anything to it, buys a computer and never does anything to it, never complains about anything, lives life plainly, and never thinks about the potential of something that it could be. Seriously dude theirs an app market for a reason. Why root your droid if you like the way the phone looks and runs. You seriously need to go back to your RAZR.
