I am trying to root my new Galaxy S2 and am unclear on which insecure kernel i need to download. My current kernel is... 2.6.35.7-SPH-D710.EK02-CL704398. My understanding was that i should find one that matches but i can't seem to find one in any of the lists i have found.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's the Epic 4G Touch on Sprint. See above for the link to the correct device forum, as anything intended for a GSM handset will likely break your CDMA device.

I have the stock kernel. I just have to find out where someone gave me the link then I'll post it here for you to download it.

Edit: Here is the stock kernel. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1113928
Just loook for Bell or Virgin Canada and download the stock kernel. They are both the same so it doesn't matter which one you use.
