Stock Messaging App

Does anyone else's stock messaging app lag a lot? It seems like it takes longer to send text than through handcent or chomp. I can't compare it to before the update because I used Handcent but I do like the stock better, just wish it wasnt so sluggish.

It does lag bad. I prefer Handcent SMS honestly.

I just tried playing with the default app, thinking it would be better than a 3rd party app...I was wrong.

With handcent, I stay.

Actually for me the stock sms runs 10x smoother and faster than Handcent or Chomp and for some reason Handcent randomly deleted all of my conversations one day and never could figure out wat happened! Didn't change a single setting either! So i actually prefer the stock app.

Really?? I wish mine was, I like the icons better. I wish I knew why mine runs slow.
