stock music player ics

for some reason my stock ics music player shows a blank screen e,g, playlists are empty.on my tablet.. i used dble twist an my music is all there,i root explored an see all my music files i can play any song using the same stock player but when i open app all empty i flashed back to stock then an that stock player sees no files .empty playlists,,any idea or help on this matter

Which make a model phone do you have, maybe the stock player you have is not compatible with ICS
