I have a Nexus S 4g, rooted, and not active on any plan right now. It works great on Wifi, but I would like to know if anyone knows how to get it to link to a wireless data network, without a plan if possible? I purchased it as a bad esn so it is not legal to try to activate, but I have seen inactive rooted phones maintain a data connection.
I can play around with it and try but don't have a way to look up the MSL, so not sure where to go.
I work at sprint and have been doing some research here & there is a way, but not sure how.
