Stream video to phone via cam.

So I got the wild idea to get a cheap backup cam for my truck, connect it to a BT transmitter and stream it to my phone that I have on a car dock attached to my windshield.

So my questions are is this possible over a BT connection? Or would I need to use a wifi connection?

Is there an app that would as soon as the phone recieves the BT connection that it would automatically put the camera view on my screen? Thinking I'd hook the power to the cam/transmitter to the backup lights so it just comes on when backing up.

Is there a BT transmitter that uses a 12v power source so that I can have it wired into the vehicle's power without having to use an inverter?
