I have awesome video quality when I watch through YouTube, but not so HD video quality when I watch through hulu or Netflix. Anything I can do to fix the grainy video that is apparently already set to high?

Get your MSL and read this :

Spirit uses proxy servers and many video streams pass through this server before it hits your device, reducing quality and causing some buffering issues in some cases.

It's in the Evo 3D forum but the info works for this device.

This was the first mod I did when I got the device.

Thanks, that was actually very helpful. I'll try to get a hold of a sprint tech to see if they can adjust that for me. I for one am still hesitant to root and change these settings myself. Is sprint the only carrier with this issue?

I wouldn't call it an issue per se as its designed to help the end user.

I think other carriers use these proxy servers but I am not sure who.

Also if you get any ota's they automatically reset these parameters. Simply go back in and change.
