Whenever I try to play it, it says "file not found" and some sort of "not compatibe" message. Is it supposed to poof like that? If not, is there a way I can get it back?

Have you removed the sd card w/ the movie & then replaced it? If so, the act of removing it deleted the file. I found that out the hard way, as well.

It's located on the 2GB sd card. If you removed or formatted the card, it's gone. You'll have to acquire it from somebody again somehow.

I didn't take anything out. It also says 'unsupported file type' when I try to play it. How would I be able to get the movie from someone else?

it does not delete it when you remove the card. take back off and take card out, then put back in. turn off phone turn back on. should show up. I thought I lost mine when i first got the phone. i have avatar on an external hard drive. its still there.
