Anyone have one have this mod that's compatible with Fresh ROM 220.127.116.11?
You talking about the one in this thread?
There's a link to the dowloadable zip file there as well. Somebody said it SHOULD work with fresh (dunno if it does though). Hope this helps
I don't see any link to any zip files but maybe I'm just blind?
Follow this link [MOD][26-Aug] Super Circle Battery with % |Version A, B, C, D, E & F| Desire 2.2 ROM - xda-developers
yep just flashed it myself. Works great.
Anyone do this on the stock rooted odex (netarchy) 2.2 rom? and get it to work?
I use it on my stock 2.2 + netarchy.

Heres the File for those on Stock netarchy 2.2 odex I love it!
I'm guessing it does not work with CM6?
i don't get how you flash this?
I haven't done any mods or themes yet there have been too many updates and would have to spend alot of time flashing
Here's a thread for restyled taskbar icons, including a stock looking battery with percentage. There are screen shots and links to download the entire set, or specific icons, your choice:
[MOD] Smooth-Mods for Sense and Manup's theme 8/29/10 CM6 Version! - xda-developers
Yeah, I a bit confused myself. The instructions said to go in the the ROM's zip file. Do we go into the one on the SD card, or go into the actual file itself that the ROM creates? It says to rename it, but do we download the file and rename it first. I'm lost on this one.
I use the one from Manup's theme on pretty much any ROM I flash and it works beautifully.
does anyone have (or can point me too) the version B zip file (with black numbers) that works on STOCK odexed ?
Just flash it like you flash any ROM.
Your supposed to take the framework-res.apk file from the ROM you currently use and upload it to that site and it will auto-create a zip file for you to flash. I went with Smooth-Sense mod. It was 1000x less complicated lol.
I know im not that much of a NEWB...but i still dont get it
I'm trying it out right now, I'll let you know if I figure it out.
I got it to work! I now have an awesome blue circle battery in the notification bar. It was a bit easier than I thought; I think I was over thinking it yesterday.
I'm going to paste the directions from the XDA website, and then add more step by step that I did to it.
I recommend you to make a Nandroid Backup.
Get your framework-res.apk file from the ROM zip file (DeFrost, OpenDesire, Sense.... etc, etc)
location is: /system/framework/framework-res.apk
IMPORTANT READ THIS:
wrong renaming or uploading wrong files will result in nothing (no framework no response)
RENAME YOUR framework-res.apk file to:
AB = Version A, Black numbers
AW = Version A, White numbers
BB = Version B, Black numbers
BW = Version B, White numbers
CG = Version C, Grey numbers
DB = Version D, Black numbers
DW = Version D, White numbers
EG = Version E, Grey numbers
FB = Version F, Black numbers
FW = Version F, White numbers
FBD = Version F Darker, Black numbers
FWD = Version F Darker, White numbers
GO TO http://upload.circle.glx.nl
Click browse upload your RENAMED framework-res.apk file.
NOTE DOWN THE CODE YOU GET BACK, you need this to locate your circle mod once it's done.
WAIT a couple of minutes (~ 3 min or sometimes more...)
GO TO http://pick.circle.glx.nl
Locate your CODE, and download it.
Flash it to your phone.
Now I'll expand on what I did to get it to work. I am using the newest version of Fresh (18.104.22.168) and testing it out for flipz. I had the ROM in my downloaded file on my laptop. I went into the zip file and followed the path listed and found the apk. I then copied the file and pasted it to my desktop. Then I right clicked on it and renamed it using the above directions. I went to the website listed in step 4 and uploaded the file I just put (and renamed) on my desktop. Wrote down the code (which is time and date stamp) and waited 4 minutes. I went to the website in step 8 and found my code (don't be like me and look on the right hand column, look on the left. lol). I then downloaded the file to my laptop, made a nand backup, put the new zip file on the root of my sd card and flashed it!
Hope this helps!
peace to you JasonK75,
I guess I am a NEWB...lol---that sounds difficult as hell (I've read it and RE-READ it and still dont know where to begin)---but i THANK you for taking the time and effort to type all of that up (to me its gibberish--but im sure it will be a helpful tool to others in this forum )
I'm sorry ZDK. I know how you feel because I was staring at it for 20 minutes last night, and somehow today it was like the veil was lifted. Is there a certain part you are getting stuck on?
I guess im getting stuck where it says get your "firmware-res.apk" file---i see where you said that you looked on the ROM (zip I'm guessing) and found that apk. However for me, im on STOCK ROM which is odexed and i dont know where to look to find that "firmware-res.apk" file...am i making any sense?
I see. So I take it you are using the stock ROM, but are at least rooted? Or are you using another ROM that is basically stock?
Are you able to do a search while in the SD card to see if it can find that apk for you?
I'm relatively sure this mod can only be used on de-odexed ROMs
