switch between applications

how do I switch application ?

I have opened App1 , App2 , App3

I want to switch between applications. How do I do it ?

Long-press the home button, and you'll get a list of recent apps. Just select one.

At least that works for Android 1.x, 2.x. I've not used 4 so far.

Works also with Android 4.03 (HTC Sensation)
... even on this forum's app now you'll come back to the same thread/post that you had leaved before with the Home button

EDIT: Maybe I should explain. With Android 2.3.4 I got only the front page of Phandroid's app when I went back to the app via long press on the Home button.

Interesting - that was one of the reasons I ditched Phandroid app for Tapatalk.
