I remember a while ago someone posted that you could go to Best Buy and swap your Hero for an Evo for roughly $100.

I am getting fed up with texting errors on the Hero and was wondering if that loophole is still happening.

    Thanks

It might have just been a special situation for that person. I am not certain this is an actual promotion or special deal that Best Buy is officially offering.

Although, you can always try to work something out with the people at Best Buy. It is worth a shot.

even if it does work, just keep in mind its $100, plus $120 a year.

True that. I think a rooted Hero is very comparable to an Evo, minus the front facing camera.
