I thought it would be interesting to see which phones you guys are currently using before you switch to the x. I, personally, am using the original Samsung Omnia. All I can say is good riddance to Windows Mobile! :D

I was using the iPhone 3GS for the last year until I bought the iPhone 4. And while I like the phone, I am really sick and tired of AT&T so that's the main reason for the switch. I thought I'd give Android a try, and when and if the iPhone ever goes to Verizon, I may switch back (or not).

Storm 1...I actually have it the way I want it now but the lure of Android and the X is to much for me. Time to switch.

HTC Incredible, jumped the gun when it came out. I should have known that something with a bigger screen was going to come out sooner rather than later. However, I am having some second thoughts about the X, now that it has been confirmed that the bootloader is encrypted. I'm still probably going to get it, but might be switching to the Fascinate once the devs come up with some ROMs to get rid of that God awful touchwiz UI.

Storm 2, and def tired of its lack of funness, bb app world is a joke for the rest of the time and effort that goes into their buisness apps you figure they would want to keep around the people who would want more than just a slow internet connection on their phone.

9650 although i will be keeping it for back up and also for when i travel out of the country because it and the 9630 i had both work great for me oconus.

Also i gave everyone a thumbs up that said they were jumping the Apple ship. Its good to see some apple guys with some common sense and an open mind.

I want the Droid X to replace the Razr, PDA, and my iPod Touch.

A BB Tour that needs to have its battery pulled once a day, since quickpull doesn't work any more. I love the 7 minute wait for it to come back to life after that pull as well.

This after I broke my Samsung Glyde. I smashed that pos on the ground when I was wasted because the touch screen just didn't work at all.

I too, have the Omnia 1. Although I do have it working pretty much the way I like it. I have SPB Mobile Shell and I like it a lot. I could get along with it for another year if I had to, but I'm ready to give Android a try. I was looking at the EVO earlier, but switching to Sprint caused me to pause and also to just see what the early adopters thought of the phone. Well, then the shortage and backorder status held me off and next thing you know, Verizon/Motorola announced the Droid X. So now, here I am patiently/impatiently waiting for the Droid X to be released.

Of course there are a few minor things I wish it had but every phone would have something I would change if I could. So, I'll live with it and I anticipate a year or two of enjoyable service before moving on to my next phone which will almost surely be a LTE 4G phone that has more "bells & whistles" than the Droid X has.

I bought a Droid in May to hold me over until the X came out. I had enough of my Storm 1 and wanted to jump on the Android bandwagon sooner than later. My wife will probably be taking over the Droid.

I'm using a Droid, and I've been pretty happy with it. However, the X has some features that totally make it worth the upgrade for me: divx support, no physical keyboard so it won't slide open in my pocket, bigger screen, more stable headphone jack, and 720p video recording.
