Swype for Desire Z?

    A friend of mine in America has the T-Mobile G2 and tells me Swype comes as standard. Is this the case with the Desire Z, and if so, where can I find it?

    HTC didn't see fit to include it with the DZ, unfortunately. :(

    I downloaded SwipeIT from Android Market for a free demo and I find it works quite well. To purchase the cost is about $6.

    I think HTCCan69 made a typo.... try searching for SlideIT instead.

    Incidently the Swype beta program may still be open - a mate of mine signed up a couple of weeks ago and got the latest version for his Desire.

    I personally love it, I actually love the keyboard now, so much easier and faster to type.

    There's another alternative to Swype..... FlexT9. It's now my standard "software keyboard". :D

    I like the Swype beta, the only problem is the licence staying active after rebooting the phone. Sure this is just a bug and will get fixed eventually.
