***Mods can move this to tips & tricks if necessary***

I posted this over on Evo thread and received great response, Just thought I'd share with Epics.

Hey -anyone using swype, you may not realize but there is a special menu, which you won't find if you're not looking for it or have not watched the video tutorials at Swype | Text Input for Screens

The special menu includes arrows, copy all, delete select and many more helpful keys. Access it by swyping from the Swype Key (Bottom Left) to the "SYM" key right next to it. To get back to regular keyboard, just press the ABC key.

Oh, while you're on the abc (default view) keyboard, swype from SYM key to 5/F key, nice little numeric layout for you.

Normally I wouldn't bother posting something like this. But I myself know how many applications I fail to watch tutorials for. And after randomly having watched these tutorials I think it's just too good not to share.

    MacMan,

Not that I personally care on this particular thread, but a heads up as your a junior member.

If someone makes a post and you appreciate it for any reason, you can click the + symbol on their post. This gives them "thanks" and it is very appreciated. Just FYI.

Tap the up shift to get different keys. Hold it down to lock for upper case.

Anyone know how to get an enter (return) key up? It is there in the email editing, but in text messages I am given the delight of a smilie key instead, which I need like a hole in the head!

Its driving me bonkers...so if anyone knows they will get a big thank you!!
