I just downloaded swype but it doesn't auto space like the instructional videos show. Is that a setting I need to change or does it not auto space on droid? I have auto space on but it doesn't work.

Hmmm...this was not my experience with it at all. I actually had to go in and UNCHECK the "Auto-spacing" box because it kept inserting spaces where I didn't want them, and this was WITHOUT using the swype key. This is what happened with me anyway, not contridicting you and your experience with the program.

You actually download the installer, you still need to open up the installer for the keyboard to load.

If that is already done, press and hold your finger in any text field, you'll get an option for "Input Method", you should be able to change keyboard preference there.

    Yet again....

Swype is copyrighted software. It's also a closed beta; if you're not signed up you can't obtain it. Please don't post links to alternative d/l locations; it puts Android Forums in an awkward position legally.
