Inc casse anyone else hadn't figured this out:

Touch the Swype key and slide your finger to the SYM key. Viola!

I wasn't sure at first how to get back to normal keys... just hit SYM (in case anyone else has this question).

Swype | Text Input for Screens shows this under the symbols video, as well as a bunch of other stuff...

If you are new to swype I highly recommend going through the tutorial and watching each of those tips/tricks videos. It can only make you faster!

As of today, I am a legal Swype user. I just did the tutorial at the beginning but never looked at the videos. I'm going to do that later when I have a chance. Thanks, Jacobjg.
