Sync new facebook friends?

When I add new friends on facebook or put new contacts in my phone, I can't link them because we weren't friends when I installed the app. I've tried re-syncing facebook for HTC sense, and tried uninstalling it (it won't let me uninstall for some reason)

Any tips?

If you press the phone button and find your new fb friend in the list and press and hold their name, a menu pops up. choose edit contact and you'll see the linked/unlinked icon in the top right corner. if you click on the unlinked you get to choose another contact to link this contact to.

But when I do this their name isn't showing up in my list of facebook friends even though we really are friends. Its only people that I wasn't friends with before I synced my phone to facebook

I have exactly the same problem..

My facebook friends that I had before I synced facebook to my phone are all available but newly added friends on facebook won't sync to my phone.
I am using a Galaxy S with froyo.

Please help, this is a very annoying issue!

Same problem here - Recently added friends don't show up in the list. Anyone figure this out yet?

I found the 'solution'...

It's actually really simple.. Just choose a contact and select 'Join contact' from the menu.

After that, select 'Get Friends' and choose your account from which you want to find the contact (in this case facebook).

Then check 'Select all' and choose to add them...
