    Hmm, can't say this fills me with glee. Three providers tying up 90% of the UK market doesn't sound like a good deal for the consumer. for a start.

    it should imporve if t-mobile works better in your area, but i am not sure when. they are remaining two companioes for 18months then they will be rebranded as one.

    the rest of the company will merge in to one before then and they will decommision some kit where there networks over lap.

    over all this makes them the biggest carrier in the UK at 37% only 3 % of a monoploy, which is why Vodafone and 02 attempts to by them where blocked as it woudl have meant that one carrier had more than 40%.

    it also means that vodafone has gone from the biggest carrier to 3rd carrier in 18 monhts!!!

    only 3 is smaller and that is more or less part of t-mobile any way.
