Root [T-Mobile] Best way to backup a new Note 2?

So my Note 2 is arriving tomorrow, and I want to be ready for it. I do want to root it eventually, though not right away.

On XDAdev forum, I read this:

"If you plan to root it then make sure the first thing you do is to back up your EFS partition. It carries your imei info. If you corrupt or delete that by mistake without having a backup, it will be nothing more than a paper weight."

What's the best way to do that backup on Note 2?
