Help [T-MOBILE] camera problem possible hardware?

hi i got an used galaxy s3 tmobile one and well got it really cheap 100$ and yes i know, its expected to have problems when used but everything works fine except for the rear camera front one works test it with a 3rd party app but rear camera gives me a warning camera fail error i dont know if by replacing the camera itself will fix it as it only clips on the logic board or if the logic board itself its the problem any one with some some knowledge on the matter can advice what steps to take in order to fix it. i am willing to put some money on it if need it as i got it really cheap and its working fine. P.s no i dont have insurance on the device obliviously.

Find out if its rooted/flashed. Sometimes it breaks stuff. That's not something I can help with
