This guy is trying to help you out. The Nexus 4 has an LTE modem. It is band 4 which is supposedly what T-Mobile is rolling out. The above accesses a menu where it can be enabled. Be aware that the 4.2.2 update removed this option but there are many threads on a work around.

The work around is easy too. I didn't have a reason to unlock the bootloader until now. All you gotta do is flash the radio from 4.2.1.

I know it's not Android but the Nokia Lumia 810 has an update coming soon that will enable T-Mobile LTE on it.

im using this phone as a spare aside from my s3 and i have to say its not too bad however this phone has no root access for now so tweaking it is impossible at the moment

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but do you have a link to detailed directions? My bootloader is unlocked and I'm rooted. The method I used was newbie and idiot proof. I need the same for flashing the radio.
