I would like to order a Nexus One and get rid of my iPhone. However, is the 500 minute $79.99 plan in the US the only option during the sign up process?

You could get the phone unlocked and go with one of the EM+ plans

Hmmm. Thanks for the quick response. That's weird that I have to pay $500+ for the unlocked phone and then get a better package.

Oh one more thing. Google Voice uses the phones minute plan correct? It is not VOIP over the data connection is it?

yes you will have to buy the phone to get the better plan. but you have no 2 year contract and unlimited minutes for $79. sure beats the iphone unlimited plan which costs you a car payment.

I searched for it on Tmobile site and could not find the unlimited plan. Does this include data?
