I think T-Mobile will actually send you the unlock code

Well you can do that with the unlock code - I personally did it and they are extreemely problematic or you can load google edition / or cm / roms and just unlock the phone from the shutdown menu. Way easier than having to mess around with silly T-Mobile that think that they hold the key to your life when they have the unlock code for your phone.

That is my personal experience and just a word of advice :)

They do hold the key to your phone's network capabilities since January 26th 2013 when it became illegal to SIM unlock your phone without your carrier permission.

What ever they are still unlocking it but you have to have your phone paid off. Also I am not advocating people break the law but this is yet another example of the U.S. Government failing the people. What a stupid law that I cannot unlock the device I paid $700 dollars for. So you mean I paid that much money for what exactly something that is not really mine.

    - I guess the word Freedom is relative!!! Right?
