Outside OS screen size... is there a reason to get a galaxy tab over say the epic?
Personally I see the two having two unique purposes. The Epic is a phone with Android. The tab is a tablet with Android. It's unlikely that you'd be comfortable holding the tab to your ear when making a call... as such a Bluetooth headset would be needed to make calls. What happens when the headset battery goes dead? Do you stop accepting calls? Do you break out an old set of wired earphones with a mic?
Both have Internet (data) access through their data radios... and, in theory, you could also tether the tab to an existing smartphone for data access.
you would have to break out the wired headphones as there is not a normal phone speaker built into the tab (that's the one you would put next to your ear on an actual phone). the only other option would be to use the tab over loudspeaker, and that just annoys everyone in the vicinity.
