    Hey,

I'm trying to do something that I thought was relatively simple but for some reason I can't get it working. I've never used Tasker before but it seems intuitive.

I want my phone to play an MP3 file at a specified time (7:30 PM) every day, but only if I'm at home.

I think it might be tricky because the time is the trigger, rather than location or wifi, as I would already be at home and on my wifi.

I tried the following with no success:

Context: Wifi connected to my network
Media Volume set to 8 (my phone is usually on silent with vibrate)
Media play - the clip I want

I also tried to use gentle alarm, set an alarm for 7:30, and have Tasker only turn the alarm on when I'm on my home wifi but that didn't work either.

I decided to use wifi as a context rather than gps as I think it'll probably save battery? Could be wrong about this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    PS: It's a Nexus 4 that I'm using.

Are you putting in time as context in addition to your wifi one +

Yes, I did do that. I tried with and without (just to test it).
Do I require anything in the "if" area of tasker to make it work?

It should be as simple as entering your time and wifi connected for your 2 contexts, then setting up your task to play the song. What's your task looking like?
