Technical Galaxy Tab Question

    My galaxy tab is smoother than my droid 2 or fascinate when I had it...

    How is that the case? Isn't the internals the same as the fascinate?

    For instance, sometimes when I try to add a widget, it takes a few seconds for the widget list to pop up...on the tab its instant. Sometimes on my phones there is a slight hesitation when its under stress while switching screens (takes a second or two to load widgets)...not the tab.

    I am not trying to say the tab is SOOO great (its pretty great though), but I thought the internals were the same as the phone or am I missing something?

    Do you have all your apps installed already? The widget list will take longer and longer to load as you get more and more widgets. Same with the home screen. As you populate it with more and more stuff, it is more likely to have moments where it stutters and lags.

    It could be that the software was optimized further as the product was launched later than the Galaxy S devices. Or perhaps like was mentioned above you dont have that many widgets installed.
