    is it possible?
    if so, how?

    i just tried pdanet with no success

    Nope, not even with a rooted one.

    The kernel doesn't have netfilter that is required for tethering.

    search for galaxo v1 from drakaz, it has netfilter. he promised to release much improved v1.1 soon.

    Do you know if it is possible to tether the tab using bluetooth from the evo using Pdanet? That is without rooting the Evo.

    Does the off contract tab (wifi only) have bluetooth dun? I have heard I can tether the tab to the Evo using Pdanet if the tab has bluetooth dun.

    GONNIEJ, this forum is about the Samsung Galaxy i7500, a phone released a while back. You'd have more success finding an answer in the right subforum. ;)
