text directions

If I pull up directions on MAPS, can I text them from that screen, not seeing how it can be done........advise.

Unfortunately, I do not think you can share directions via text using the google maps app. I always wanted that feature too. I know you can share places/addresses but not the actual directions list.

I'll move this to the Application forum so maybe people have other alternatives or maybe they can correct me.
