Help Text messages returned unsent - Why??

This happens off & on with my Droid X, sometimes when I send a text message it gets returned to me unsent with a little red x in the message that say undelivered. I would say this happens every dozen or so texts I send. If I reboot the phone it sends the texts fine. This also happened with my first Droid X sometimes. I know it's not a matter of being in a bad coverage area. The three other Android phones in our family never have this problem. Any thoughts on what might cause this? Anyone ever have this problem?

Check the phone number. If you are picking a contact that has their number added through facebook it puts a +1-555-555-5555. The + sign messes everything up.

That is just the Droid X. No one has figured it out yet. Seems to happen kinda regular and then doesn't happen for a while.
