Support The problem with WiFi on android... (Proxy/NTLM)

    Well, its pretty uncool how I can get the iPhone fanboi's taking the piss because I cant do the very basic things such as use a proxy!?!? Or do NTLM authentication. It means im completly locked out of my network at work, I work in IT and just find it shocking that a mainstream OS such as Android can miss such fundamental feature's of corporate networking.

    Rant over. What id like to know is if anyone has a clue about when this might get sorted, anyone know if 3 (gingerbread) might somehow get this addition? I seriously hope so...

    Really no one knows? If you fancy just sharing your annoyances with this then thats cool also... ha ha.

    Happy to add my annoyance to yours, for all the good it seems it will do. I discovered this when i first got my phone, thought by now it would be fixed. It's so basic!
