so not on the touchscreen itself but the four buttons right above the trackball ie: the home screen, menu, back, and search, buttons.
everytime you press one it vibrates and is pretty audible.
i have searched every setting feature imagineable and haven't been able to deactivate it, was wondering if anyone had any luck with this?

    thanks.

I was wondering the same and after some research around the web, found this on another android forum:

This is from HTC tech support -

Unfortunately, there is not a way to disable the haptic feedback of the face keys of the phone. This is built into the OS to let the user know that these buttons have been pressed, whether deliberately or accidentally

If anyone ever finds a possible solution to this maybe through some type of program menu, please post it. I find those 4 button vibrations on the harsh side. I am really surprised that it is not adjustable.

My old Samsung glyde even has this as an adjustment.

I found my way to this thread because I'm trying to turn ON the vibrations. It turned off when I was using LockBot Lite and was unlocking my phone after turning it on. I'm trying to get it back on, because I like it lol
