Most themes for apex don't play nicely with fission and vice-versa (or any other rom). You risk a boot loop if you don't stick with a theme designed for your rom.

The good news is that any theme can be ported from one rom or another, what theme are you wanting to use?

"batt in a circle that changes color"... not sure what that means.

I have the nex theme with the multi-color gradient battery mod. I've recolored many of the images and replaced all the battery icons. (Each 10% image is a different color in a complete transition from red to blue):

Thanks. It's easy enough to do.

    • Install Nextheme.
    • Download and install 10% Nextheme battery mod closest to what you want.
    • Go to UOT Kitchen and create and download the battery icons in whatever style or color you want.
    • Using WinRar or other zip program, open the battery theme zip file and extract framework-res.apk to your computer.
    • Rename framework-res.apk to framework-res.apk.zip and open it with WinRar.
    • Copy new battery icons to res\drawable-hdpi in your zip file
    • Rename framework-res.apk.zip back to framework-res.apk
    • Copy updated framework to your theme zip and install it again thru CW Recovery.

AFAIK, the 10% battery mod just has images and xml files so should be safe (unlike other themes with styled/patched apk's).

Still it's a good idea to wait for an updated SBF.

Why don't you ask Fab if it's safe to install the multicolor battery mod from here with 2.2.1?

My mod is the same as that one, except the images have been swapped.
