    Posts on there have people listing apps.... one common app that nobody caught on to..... Skype. I wonder if that's the problem.

    I DO have Skype, and have never had this issue, so I'd be hesitant to point fingers at Skype just yet.

    This is BEYOND user tweeking.

    Let me help you understand.

    A new user has gotten a new phone. Installed NOTHING, got a new SIM card, and this problem happened on the new phone.

    The problem travels, with the infected number.

    It's not like anything we have ever seen before.

    Google needs to take a look.

    This has happened to me one time in the same area, but never anywhere else. What was weird is that when it was happening my 3g and 4g were going back and forth. I wonder if has to do with anything about bordering a 4g and 3g area?? I turned off 4g while I was there and did not have a problem after that, if I remember correctly. This happened about a month ago and has not happened again and I bought my Nexus on launch day.

    Just as a funny side note: About an hour after I posted that I never had this issue, my GF called me. I answered, and couldn't hear anything. I was like "wow, jinxed myself big time". I hung up and called back, she answered right away by saying "sorry, I didn't realize I had hit send already, and set my phone back down to grab my purse". So...I'm still a lucky one so far.

    I've had this happen to me once, but I had virtually no signal so I blamed it on that at the time. I haven't had it happen when I've had decent signal.

    Worth starring though just in case it is a real issue and to have them look into it.

    UGH!!!!!

    This just happened to me for the first time today. However audio, in the form of my voice, came back after about 30+ seconds into the call. GRRRRRRR

    I can't help but wonder whether Google removing offical support for this phone has anyting to do with this issue? If that's the case, then starring this issue on the Google support page is worthless as they would be pointing the finger at the carrier/manufacturer (and if THAT's the case, I am less hopeful it will ever be solved).

    Lies. Google did not remove support. They removed partial dev support due to their inability to offer proprietary CDMA binaries needed to make the phone function 100%. The Verizon Galaxy Nexus will still see prompt updates direct from Google just like the GSM version.

    I had this issue again today. Guys.... please, please, PLEASE go "star" that issue. I know it's got to be more than 141 people having this problem.

    What's considered "prompt" as far as updates? I've had my Galaxy Nexus since 12/24/11 and I'm just shy of two months ownership and I'm still on 4.0.2. I know it takes time to properly test, but I thought the updates would be a bit faster. I guess anything's faster than Motorola.
