I was just thinking that if anyone had Android App Writing Skillz, they could create an app that set your phone's profile based on a schedule. For example: I'm at work, in an office Mon-Fri from 5a-1:30p and need my phone on Vibrate so to not disturb my esteemed collegues. Then, since the vibe is a bit weak, I need to have it on normal (ring) the rest of the day until about 10p, when I head to bed.

I guess the first question is does this app already exist? If so, what is it? If not, who will create this outstanding App and take all my glory (and all my gratitude)??

Quick Profiles works great for me. one touch profiles for type of ringer, volume of ringer, media and notifications as well as different setting for airplane, wifi, bluetooth, screen brightness. Just put a shortcut on your screen. I have one set for home and one for work.

Setting Profiles is a good app for this. You can have it use location in addition to time. The free version should accomplish what you're looking to do.
