Root [Sprint] Ting service

Want to root my note 3 but I have service on Ting who works with Sprint and dont want anything to mess up the service. Anyone else in a similar situation?

If you've already activated the phone on Ting you can root and put a custom ROM on it.

However, to activate a Sprint phone with Ting it has to have a stock Sprint ROM installed. I've read on their forums it's sometimes OK for it to be rooted before activating as long as the ROM is stock Sprint, but that can vary depending on your phone.

Yea I was reading that too. I already have it activated on ting so I might just go ahead and do it.
