Root Tip: Wifi Tethering & Locale

    Quick tip for folks who want to use wifi tether and use Locale as well: Locale periodically power cycles the wifi, meaning your connection will periodically drop between your phone and any tethered devices without warning, and won't pick back up until you restart the wifi tether app. When you use wifi tether, open Locale and hit Menu, then disable Locale. You shouldn't have any random wifi dropping issues after this. Just don't forget to enable Locale again when you're done tethering :p
