to play movies what is faster or better >streaming or reading from the sdcard

why im asking is the sdcards go up to 16gig maybe more. doesnt streaming use alot of your data plan?
is streaming faster than reading it from the sdcard?

the card would be faster /more reliable.

streaming can drop out with no connection, and sometimes you get "hiccups" in streaming playback.

it will also depend on your wifi network as well, but yeah i agree using your sd card would be better. plus you probably will have better battery life as well without having to stream the movie.

I'll occasionally stream movies and TV shows when I'm at home, where I have good un-metered internet access. More often or not though I'm playing them from a local source, like an SD-card.
