Root To root or not to root....

All rooting a device does is allow certain applications elevated permission in the system.

You confirm these applications using the 'Superuser' app.

If you think about it this way, there's no possible way that just the act of rooting a device can cause it to get hot (i.e. increase CPU/GPU/radio load)

It was a gui root. Maybe it installed something else that was running in the background? I'm not sure but ATK didnt show anything else running.
