This morning the top button stopped responding properly. I can press it with a great deal of effort but the "feel" of the button is very different and it doesn't depress much at all.
It's usable this way but very unpleasant.
I do have insurance. I bought it on launch day so it's a little over a year old.
Has anyone else had this problem? Should I start with calling Verizon? If I file an insurance claim what happens then? I've heard they I may get a refurb Droid or a different phone entirely if their OOS on Droids. Do I have to return my current phone (I'd prefer not to--it would be nice to keep around in case one of our phones has a catastrophic failure or for the kids to play games on.)
Thanks!
