Does anyone know of a app that download a more user friendly qwerty board?
I have a keyboard that you can install manually for free that's much more user friendly. Just send me off a PM with an e-mail adress or something to send it to. I'll include instructions on what you need to do it, and a walkthrough on how to install it.
Okay. Apparently I have no idea what this means.
Aren't all touchscreen keyboards pretty user friendly? I mean, they just show characters and you touch them, right?
/first touch screen phone so I'm curious as to how much more user friendly a keyboard can get
Well I was hoping for bigger keys, because my fingers are always hitting other letters....
Try AnySoftKeyboard, enable it as an input method, then dig into the settings for the 'profile' size of the keys. It's free/open source.
This is what I use but it is not for everyone as it takes a bit getting used to.
Try that Swype beta, it's amazing. I was also having issues hitting the wrong keys, this thing is incredible.
Though I am sure with all the positive vibe it's getting, it will be about $20 once it goes live. lol
Still worth it IMO.
