Does anyone know of a way to remove and clean the trackball and rolling bars under it?

Yes sir. Will do. I have been doing research on this. This will become an issue soon. Blackberries you can pry the silver ring off but this one I can't get my fingernail under.

I mean, this works with Mighty Mouses but you can try taking an alcohol pad and rolling it over the scroll ball and rotating it. this tends to pick up lint and dust and stuff that might get stuck in it.

Yeah, that's my method as well; sometimes a Q-tip soaked in the alcohol from the wipe.

I used to take apart my BB Curve trackball and give the area in there a once-over with swabs and Q-tips; I'm afraid to even try to remove the little assembly on this Eris though.
