Transfered files from PC to Phone won't save.

Sometimes when I transfer an mp3 file via (USB port) from my PC (WIN XP if it matters) to Phone (memory card) it shows that it did save. I disconnect the USB port, look at the file manager on my phone OR reconnect the USB port and view my file manager on my PC and the transferred files are gone.

It doesn't happen all time. In fact, yesterday I was successful at transfering 2 files. Then tried to transfer 2 more files and they disappear when I disconnect the USB. I retransfered 2 more times and they still disappeared.

There's plenty of room left on my memory card and I tried waiting a few minutes after the download had finished before removing the USB Cord.

I'm confused.

Welcome aboard. Unfortunately, it happens. However, here is an application https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.metago.astro that might be able to find that file (if the process was successful) on your sd card - and you can move it to a folder of choice.

Make sure that before you unplug the USB cord, that you unmount the SD card and memory. Also, are you using the drag and drop method? If so, are you checking the folder you dropped the files in. (Make sure its not the internal memory.)
