I bought a used Nexus S a couple of weeks ago. Is the warranty transferrable?
i would think so, especially if you have the purchase receipt
From the warranty booklet: "SAMSUNG TELECOMMUNICATIONS AMERICA, L.P. ("SAMSUNG") warrants to the original purchaser ("Purchaser")..."
You can find it here: Samsung
Now you don't necessarily need the receipt to redeem the warranty, so it's not like they have any way of knowing you're not the original owner; but with no documentation at all, you might have a hard time. I'd imagine the original packaging would more than suffice, or at least the UPC from the box.
