Im going to buy a bigger SD card for my Huawei Ascend today. So my question is... what is the best way to transfer my data from my current card to the new one?

I haven't done this since porting to Android, but in the past, I've had no trouble doing the following:

    1) Using card reader and pc (or device as external drive and pc), creating backup file of existing SD card

    2) Format new card

    3) Copy backup of previous card to new card

    4) Place new card in device

    Done.

Yeah...Lizzrd has it right. That's exactly what I would do.

Hook up device to pc, select Disk Drive mode. Open the drive, copy EVERYTHING from there onto a new folder on your computer. Disconnect device, put new card in, connect via usb in disk drive mode, copy everything from the folder on your computer onto the new card.

And for future reference, if you had done a search, this has been answered about 50 times on here.
