Help Transferring old ringtones and adding new ones

I've copied my ringtones from my old phone to the SF but the menu for the ringtones will not list them only the notification folder shows them. I've even downloaded some tones directly but no luck. Yes, I've done the whole contact ringtone thing and my contacts are on the phone not gmail.
