tried everything and still no market

Hi All,
After hard resetting my phone to factory defaults i have not been able to download apps from android market. When i try and download them i get the "download was unsuccessful" message

Yes i have searched, many forums and google and have tried:
-soft reset
- hard reset
-format sd card
- remove sd card (use no card)
- clear market/download manager cache
- use wifi

i still cannot get it to download. This is extremely frustrating, and now im left with an appless phone (well apart from the standard apps). Does anyone know how i can fix this? its driving me insane.

I had the same issue. Only solution was to do a fresh install with RUU.

There was an issue with this a while back, i had to change my google.com account to a gmail.com account

can be done thru google web site, dont know if this can help you but its worth a shot,

Also have you tried logging in to the market from a PC and downloading an app from there?
That should tell you if your phone is linked to the market?
