Tried to reset and..... HELP

Followed the "volume + power button" instructions to get into the menu to do a reset, and it's now stuck on something called "fastboot mode for bootloader unlock". And I can't figure out how to get past that screen - no buttons seem to have any effect.

This has NOT been a good morning on the technology front :-/

PS It's also insanely tiny print. I'm literally having to use a magnifier to read it. WTF is going on, here???!!

DUH. Suddenly remembered I could pull the battery, and have now got a normal reboot again. Clearly I've been too long with sealed units!!

Well, the phone power usage which prompted all this is still snafu'd, but at least it's not bricked!!
