Root Triumph turning itself off

It's probably one of the following:

1. a misbehaving app
2. a corrupt file in your rom
3. an app that conflicts with another app
4. hardware failure

Do the usual troubleshooting:

1. if you just recently installed an app, try removing it.
2. try a clean flash of the rom
3. try the stock rom
4. get a replacement phone

This might seem like a ridiculous solution, but I notice both of you are on stock. I had this problem on stock and as soon as I switched to CM7 (Not for this reason, though) it went away. Just noticed it a few days ago. I know I'm not the only one because I've seen others saying the exact same thing. Now the only time it crashes is when I'm loading too much porn at once and my phone's RAM can't handle it

Kidding, but in all seriousness if CM7 isn't an option then I'd do what I used to do while I was on stock: take of the back plate, do a battery pull (Make sure your phone isn't loading or saving ANY data, best not to take risks no matter how minuscule they may be), take out the SD card.

Now swallow all your spit (I'm being completely serious, if you end up accidentally blowing all of your spit inside of your phone then you may run into problems, fog up the camera for a few seconds, etc... one of my friends tried blowing into mine and all the above happened :( The 'charging' light even went on, and remained on for about a half an hour. Yup, don't let your friends spit in your phone, be it on accident or on purpose :(

Alright, so after you swallow and COMPLETELY dry your mouth out, blow into the SD card slot and into the holes/areas around it. This whole dry mouth problem can be avoided if you have compressed air, but that stuff's expensive for air in a can.

Need help guys...

my motorola triumph had the Froyo Ice Cream sandwich 2.2 and all was fine until couple of days back...

suddenly my phone went dead and i thought it was the battery so i got a new battery but that didnt help..here is what happens now..

-- to turn the phone on i have remove the battery
-- the phone does not turn off either using the power button.. i have to remove the battery again...
-- when it turns on after putting the battery in, the phone just shuts itself off after a minute or so...just goes dead no response at all...
-- i thought i could reinstall the Froyo Ice Cream sandwich 2.2
-- so i did that
-- now the same thing with on off still happens and when turned on, the phone just sits on the Google screen and nothing happens after that...

i am wondering if any one has seen anything like this and if possible may be point me in some direction hopefully..
